TERMS OF USE ============ Last updated: July 2026 Welcome to Synthesia! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Synthesia mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. 1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS ----------------------- By creating an account or using the App in any way, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, available at https://synthesia.app/privacy. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. 2. SERVICE DESCRIPTION ----------------------- Synthesia is an AI-powered creative tool that allows users to generate images and videos from text prompts ("Prompts") using neural network models. The App provides: - Text-to-image generation - Text-to-video generation - Image-to-video animation Features and available models may change over time at our discretion. 3. USER ACCOUNTS ----------------- 3.1. Account Creation You must create an account via Apple Sign-In to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. 3.2. Eligibility You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have a parent or guardian's consent. 3.3. Account Termination We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in any conduct we deem harmful to the App, other users, or third parties. 4. COINS AND SUBSCRIPTIONS ---------------------------- 4.1. Coins Coins are the internal currency of the App, used to pay for AI generation operations. Coin pricing and consumption rates are displayed in the App and may be updated from time to time. 4.2. Subscriptions The App offers auto-renewable subscriptions that provide coins on a recurring basis. Subscription terms — including pricing, billing frequency, and coin allocation — are disclosed in the App before purchase. 4.3. Auto-Renewal Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings. 4.4. Refunds All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We may, at our sole discretion, consider individual refund requests sent to zyrexx@yandex.com. ACCEPTABLE USE ------------------ You agree NOT to use the App to: - Generate, share, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. - Generate content that depicts or promotes violence, hate speech, child exploitation, or any form of discrimination. - Generate sexually explicit or pornographic content. - Generate content that infringes upon the intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of any third party. - Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity. - Interfere with or disrupt the App, its servers, or networks. - Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App. - Use automated means (bots, scripts, scrapers) to access or interact with the App. 6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY ------------------------- 6.1. Our Rights The App, including its design, code, user interface, logos, and trademarks, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our express written permission. 6.2. Your Content You retain ownership of the Prompts you submit and the content you generate using the App ("Generated Content"). By using the App, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your Prompts and Generated Content solely for the purpose of providing the App's services to you. We do NOT claim ownership of your Generated Content and do NOT use it for training AI models unless explicitly authorized. 7. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES ----------------------------- THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not guarantee that: - The App will meet your specific requirements or expectations. - The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. - Generated Content will be of any particular quality or suitable for any particular purpose. - Any errors or defects will be corrected. AI-generated content may sometimes produce unexpected, inaccurate, or inappropriate results. You are solely responsible for reviewing and evaluating Generated Content before use or distribution. 8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY ---------------------------- TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW: - We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the App. - Our total liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. - We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or legality of Generated Content created by users. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. 9. INDEMNIFICATION ------------------- You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Synthesia, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: - Your use of the App. - Your violation of these Terms. - Your violation of any third-party rights. - Any content you generate, submit, or share through the App. 10. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES ----------------------------------- The App may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by us. We assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. 11. GOVERNING LAW ------------------ These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Russian Federation, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in accordance with applicable law. 12. CHANGES TO TERMS --------------------- We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App. By continuing to use the App after changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms. 13.
