1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how app-replier ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you interact with our Instagram application, app-replier (the "App"), or with the Instagram account @mofed.yo (the "Account").

By interacting with the Account — including commenting on our posts, sending us a direct message, or otherwise engaging with our content — you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

When you interact with the Account, we may collect and process the following information through the Instagram Graph API and Instagram Business Login:

• Public profile information: your Instagram username, user ID, and profile picture.
• Comment data: the content of comments you post on our Instagram posts, the comment ID, and the timestamp.
• Direct message data: the content of messages you send to the Account, if you initiate a conversation.
• Interaction metadata: information about how you interact with our content (e.g., which post you commented on).

We do not collect passwords, payment information, or any sensitive personal data.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected solely to:

• Respond automatically to comments on our Instagram posts (for example, replying to a comment containing a specific keyword).
• Respond to direct messages you send to the Account.
• Improve the quality and responsiveness of our Instagram interactions.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising or profiling purposes.

4. Automated Processing

Our App uses automated systems to detect certain keywords in comments and to generate replies. These replies are posted publicly on the same post where the triggering comment appears. If you do not wish to receive automated replies, please do not comment on our posts.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your information based on:

• Your consent, given when you choose to interact with the Account.
• Our legitimate interest in operating and maintaining our Instagram presence.

6. Data Sharing

We do not share your personal information with third parties, except:

• With Meta Platforms, Inc., as necessary to operate the App through the Instagram Graph API.
• With service providers who host our automation infrastructure (currently, a self-hosted n8n instance), strictly for the purpose of operating the App.
• When required by law, such as in response to a valid legal request.

7. Data Retention

We retain the information collected only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above. Comment and message data processed by our automation is typically discarded immediately after the automated reply is sent, and is not stored in a persistent database. Execution logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days for debugging purposes and are then deleted.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your personal information.
• Withdraw consent at any time.
• Object to or restrict processing.

9. Data Deletion

If you would like your data to be deleted, you may:

1. Send an email to mofedyo96@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request."
2. Include your Instagram username in the body of the email.

We will process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion by email.

You may also remove the App's access to your account at any time through your Instagram settings: Settings → Apps and Websites → Active → Remove.

10. Children's Privacy

The Account and App are not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

11. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we process. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence. By interacting with the Account, you consent to such transfers.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued interaction with the Account after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
