No recorded extra requirement does not prove a route is ready

A source entry can be incomplete without being useless. The important point is to preserve the boundary of what has actually been recorded.
The current reviewed steel-bar and pie-shell details on OSRS Money Maker say that no additional quest, access, item or setup requirement is recorded in those entries. They also advise checking the Wiki guide before committing a large cash stack. That wording should not be shortened into a claim that every account can use every possible route.
For a new OSRS player, confirm the exact furnace or bank location, the materials required and any route-specific setup you intend to use. A generic recipe and a particular efficient route are related but not identical pieces of evidence.
The early-game method collection provides the initial shortlist and linked review details. Follow the source for the candidate you choose, then label unresolved access questions as unresolved in your own notes.
This is a practical reason to start small. A limited trial can reveal a missing route assumption before a bulk purchase. It does not establish that the underlying source was wrong, and the absence of a recorded restriction is not proof that every efficient setup has already been checked.
