Our story starts in 1934, when Eugene Cloud I founded the business with a passion for serving others and making Florida a safer place to live. That company grew into Cloud Termite and Pest — and the calling was passed down through the generations of the Cloud family.
Eugene's great-grandson, Brenton Cloud, carried it forward. After Brenton and his wife Pallas welcomed their first son, they launched Greenhouse Termite and Pest Control with a clear mission: protect families, homes, and the environment — with the same outstanding customer service Eugene Cloud I believed in back in 1934.
Today, Greenhouse serves over 10,000 members across Hillsborough, Pinellas, Manatee, Pasco, Sarasota, and Charlotte counties — still family-owned, still local, and still treating every home like our own.

Are your treatments safe for my kids and pets?
Yes — that's a founding principle of the company. Greenhouse uses eco-smart, pet- and kid-considerate products, and places bait in cabinets, voids, and other targeted spots rather than broadcasting chemicals where your family lives. Your tech will tell you exactly what was applied and any short wait times.
What if I see pests between quarterly visits?
Call us. Greenhouse guarantees its work — if pests come back between scheduled visits, we return and re-treat at no charge.
How much does service cost?
Quarterly protection starts at $130 per visit and goes up with home size. Lawn treatment starts at $70 and up with a quarterly plan, and is $120 for lawn spray only without a quarterly plan. The German Roach Flush is a $400 flat fee, and the Flea & Tick Flush is also a $400 flat fee. Sentricon® termite protection is $800 for a new install, $600 to take over an existing Sentricon® system, then $360 a year for monitoring. Rodent bait boxes are $150 to install, then $40 per quarter. Every price is confirmed free, in person, before any work starts.
What does the Sentricon® system do for termites?
Sentricon stations are installed around your home's foundation. Termites prefer the bait to wood, carry it back to the colony, and the colony is eliminated — giving you both treatment and ongoing prevention for subterranean termites, with regular station checks and refills. Pricing: $800 for a new install, $600 to take over an existing Sentricon® system, then $360 a year for monitoring and refills.
Why do ants get worse after it rains?
Rain floods ant colonies and pushes them to higher, drier ground — often your kitchen. Damp conditions also attract moisture-loving carpenter ants, which can damage wet wood. Sealing entry points and a maintained exterior barrier are the best defense during Florida's rainy season.
