Turn Markdown notes into a text ebook with a table of contents, ready to download as an EPUB.

Enter a book title and author, then choose your note files or paste text. Markdown is plain text with simple formatting marks: # for a chapter heading, - for a list item and **text** for bold. Selected files are joined in their selected order. The text-only ebook keeps headings, lists, tables, emphasis and code. Remove embedded images and replace Obsidian [[wiki links]] with plain text or ordinary Markdown links first. Web links remain links; their pages are not added to the book.

What this can and cannot do
Start chapter headings with # or ## followed by a space to add them to the table of contents. The synthetic example shows headings, bold text and a list. The preview contains the same text as the download. EPUB 3 is an ebook format for compatible reading apps and devices; layout can vary between them. Limit: 5 MB of Markdown text. This does not convert scanned PDFs.
